In the late hours of a cold December night in Baltimore, the body of 58-year-old Albertus Nelson, a male resident of the 2500 block of W. Fayette St., was discovered under grim circumstances. On Friday, December 7, 2018, just after 10:45 p.m., police responded to a call in the expansive and historically troubled Leakin Park. There, near the 4700 block of Franklintown Road, they found Mr. Nelson, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
