In the early hours of July 10, 2018, the life of 18-year-old Jeffrey Allen Shields was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. A Black male, Shields was walking home from his cousin's house at approximately 2:40 a.m. when he was fatally shot in the back on Garrison Avenue in the northwestern part of the city. His body was officially found at 2:50 a.m. in the 2400 block of West Garrison Avenue.
