In the early morning hours of June 25, 2018, the life of 36-year-old Oscar Rene-Espinal was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Riverdale Heights, Maryland. At approximately 7:15 a.m., law enforcement officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 5400 block of Carters Lane. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Rene-Espinal lying unresponsive in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
