In the winter of 2017, the life of Sherman Leonard Johnson, a 59-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of January 23rd, in the 3800 block of Oakford Avenue in the Northwest District of the city, Johnson was fatally shot. Born on November 16, 1957, he was a lifelong resident of Baltimore.
