In the late summer of 2016, the life of a Baltimore teenager was tragically cut short. Bruce Hamilton, a 17-year-old Black male, was shot on the evening of August 15, 2016. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 900 block of North Monroe Street, the location of a BP gas station in West Baltimore.
