In the midnight hour of July 13, 2016, the quiet of an Upper Marlboro, Maryland neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to reports of a shooting, Prince George's County police officers arrived at the 12100 block of Hunterton Street to find a young man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, 22-year-old Andre Stocks, a resident of the same street, was pronounced dead at the scene.
