In the early morning hours of November 5, 2015, the life of 39-year-old Edson Keister of Bowie, Maryland, was tragically cut short in Oxon Hill. Prince George's County Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1400 block of Southern Avenue at approximately 3:05 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Keister suffering from gunshot wounds. He was a male victim. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died a short time later.
