In the summer of 2015, the city of Baltimore lost a dedicated community advocate. On the evening of July 11th, 39-year-old Dante Barnes, a Black male, was found shot in the 2600 block of Boone Street. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and his death was ruled a homicide.
