In the early evening of May 30, 2015, shots rang out in the 2800 block of Hornbeam Court in Glenarden, Maryland, leaving a young man's life extinguished. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers from the Glenarden and Prince George's County Police Departments discovered 22-year-old Pierre Rafael Edwards suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
