In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Croom, Maryland, a dispute between two acquaintances tragically escalated, leaving one man dead and another facing a murder charge. James Ryan Burch, a 31-year-old male, was fatally shot on January 18, 2015. The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. in the 7000 block of Crain Highway. When patrol officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Burch suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
