In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in May 2014, the life of a young man from Washington D.C. was tragically cut short in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Samuel Cheadle, a 20-year-old male, was discovered by Prince George's County patrol officers who were drawn to the 4900 block of Maury Place by the sound of gunshots at approximately 1:15 a.m. on May 7th. Upon their arrival, they found Cheadle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
