On the evening of December 20, 2012, Jearmar Oswald Lee, a 31-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The incident, which unfolded on the 700 block of Neptune Avenue, was the result of an armed robbery. Responding to a call for a shooting, patrol officers discovered Lee suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
