In the early hours of March 31, 2012, the life of 17-year-old Brandon Lee Wiggins, a male from Capitol Heights, Maryland, was cut short by gunfire in Landover. Around 1:00 a.m., patrol officers from the Prince George's County Police Department discovered Wiggins in the 1600 block of Brightseat Road, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their arrival, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
