In the winter of 2010, a violent encounter irrevocably altered the course of a man's life and left a community searching for answers. On the evening of December 22, Damon Norman Dee Washington, a 31-year-old male, was shot in the 9100 block of Edmonston Court in Greenbelt, Maryland.
