Bulmaro Nucamendi-Ventura, a 40-year-old man, was killed on the night of February 9, 2010, in Riverdale, Maryland, as a heavy winter storm still had the neighborhood buried in snow. Just after 9:00 p.m., Prince George’s County police were called to the 5400 block of 55th Place for reports of gunfire, and they found him lying out on the snowy ground with a gunshot wound.
