In the spring of 2007, a violent encounter left a lasting and ultimately fatal mark on the life of a Baltimore teenager. Demarris Johnson, a 15-year-old Black male, was shot on April 21, 2007, in the 6800 block of Fait Avenue. The initial incident, however, did not immediately claim his life. For years, he lived with the consequences of that day's violence.
