In the winter of 2007, a domestic dispute in Forestville, Maryland, escalated to a fatal conclusion, ending the life of 51-year-old Brenda Collington. On Thursday, January 18, 2007, police were summoned to the apartment Brenda shared with her husband in the 7200 block of Donnell Place. The call was made by one of Brenda's sons, leading officers to a grim discovery. Inside the residence, Brenda Collington had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
