On December 26, 2017, the day after Christmas, 53-year-old Anthony Shuford and a woman named Stella Truitt, 54, were found shot to death inside their residence in the 1600 block of 30th Street Ensley in Birmingham, Alabama. A concerned neighbor discovered them after noticing damage to their home and went to check on them. When police arrived, they found the couple lying on the floor, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
