On August 31, 2021, Malik Tunstall, aged 22, was tragically shot in the head while sitting on a bench outside his residence at the Monroe Houses in the Bronx, New York. The incident occurred around 7:20 PM, and Malik was immediately transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
