Shaqur Nesmith, a 22-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2020, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred at the corner of Jay and Orchard streets on Rochester's west side. According to reports, Nesmith was standing outside when Nicholas Serret, 25, fired six to ten shots at him. Nesmith was struck at least once and was subsequently transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. This
