Dakota Podlaski, a 20-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2020. On that evening, Dakota was at the corner of Dewey Avenue and Magee Avenue when he was struck by a gunshot. The Rochester Police Department responded to reports of shots fired around 7:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Dakota suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.
