In the summer of 2016, the life of 42-year-old Drexel Platt, a Black male, was cut short by gunfire in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the evening of Saturday, June 4th, Platt was at an auto shop on North Foster Drive when a shooting incident unfolded. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
