Albert Schaper, an 18-year-old from North Bergen, New Jersey, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2016, in Queens, New York. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near Jamaica Avenue and the Van Wyck Expressway. Schaper was sitting in a parked car with two other individuals when a gunman approached from the passenger side and opened fire.
