Kwemon Davis, a 23-year-old Black man, was wounded by gunfire in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on the late afternoon of March 3, 2015, when violence broke out near the 2200 block of Spanish Town Road by North 22nd Street. Police reported that he was struck and still tried to get away, climbing into a 2010 Mercury Milan and attempting to flee the scene as the minutes after the shooting stretched into a frantic fight to survive.
