Joanna Thompson, a 25-year-old resident of Victorville, California, tragically lost her life on December 8, 2022. Early that morning, deputies from the Victorville Sheriff's Station responded to a call about a person lying in the roadway near Bear Valley and Amethyst roads. Upon arrival, they found Joanna Thompson unresponsive and without a pulse. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's examination revealed that she had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
