Leonard Watkins, a 62-year-old resident of San Diego, California, tragically passed away on October 22, 2022. His body was discovered in a state of decomposition at a homeless encampment in the Encanto neighborhood. The San Diego Police Department identified Watkins and confirmed that he had suffered traumatic injuries to his upper body, indicating that his death was a homicide.
