In the early evening of Saturday, September 27, 2014, the life of 26-year-old Brishen Ashon Dorsey was tragically cut short in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. Having only arrived in the city two days prior for a visit, the young man became the victim of a fatal shooting. Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 6:20 p.m., where they discovered Dorsey deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
