Marilu Ramirez Olmedo, a 32-year-old resident of Corcoran, California, tragically lost her life on March 6, 2022. Initially reported as a suicide by her boyfriend, Luis Antonio Pulido-Esparza, the circumstances surrounding her death quickly raised suspicions. Pulido-Esparza, a correctional officer at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran, called 911 on the morning of March 6, claiming that Marilu had taken her own life following an argument the previous night.
