Joey Casias, a 38-year-old resident of Covina, California, tragically lost his life on December 21, 2021. Casias, a father of three, was fatally shot during a confrontation with a suspected car thief. The incident occurred after Casias decided to assist two teenagers who had noticed the suspect, Trevor Thompson, rummaging through a BMW parked outside their home.
