On August 20, 2021, 31-year-old Toshika Dent was tragically shot and killed in Highland, California. The incident occurred in the 7900 block of Pinehurst Drive, where deputies responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Dent lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department immediately launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
