In the spring of 2023, a promising young life was tragically cut short on the streets of New Orleans. Reynaud Shields Jr., a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of St. Claude Avenue, near a Church's Chicken in the Bywater neighborhood.
