Christian LaQuan Evans, a 24-year-old Black man from New Orleans, was killed on Friday, March 29, 2013, after gunfire cut through a Central City block at night. As the evening settled in, he was found on the porch of an abandoned house in the 2600 block of LaSalle Street, wounded by multiple gunshots.
