Jonathan Angel Rodriguez, a 25-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on the night of October 31, 2020, in Artesia, California. The incident occurred in the 11900 block of 168th Street. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to a call about a gunshot victim at approximately 11:46 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds, including Rodriguez.
Both victims were transported to a hospital, where Rodriguez was pronounced dead. The other victim, a juvenile, survived the injuries.
