On a tragic autumn day in 2011, the life of a 48-year-old Black/African American man, Gregory Johnson, was abruptly cut short in New Orleans. On October 3rd, Johnson was found shot to death, his body lying on the ground just outside the sanctuary of his own home in the 6000 block of Curran Boulevard.
