On the evening of August 24, 2018, a tragic shooting occurred near Armijo High School in Fairfield, California, claiming the life of 16-year-old Ahmar Willis Jr. The young African American male was fatally shot during an exchange of gunfire between two groups at the intersection of Bell Avenue and Washington Street.
