Adelberto Ocampo, a 17-year-old high school student from Fresno, California, tragically lost his life on January 7, 2018. Ocampo was walking home near Elm and California in Southwest Fresno when a car approached him. Someone inside the vehicle asked if he was affiliated with a gang, to which Ocampo responded that he was not. Despite his denial, the individual in the car opened fire, fatally wounding Ocampo.
