In the early moments of a warm New Orleans Saturday, on July 24, 2010, the joyous sounds of a house party were tragically silenced by gunfire. Henry M. Adams Sr., a 33-year-old African-American man known affectionately as 'DJ Redneck,' was among those struck. The incident occurred just after midnight in the 4300 block of Dale Street, where Adams and several others were gathered.
