Miranda Lauren Walton, a 26-year-old resident of Lakewood, California, tragically lost her life on September 10, 2017. The incident occurred in the 5900 block of Pepperwood Avenue, where she was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Walton's death was ruled a homicide. The authorities were alerted to the scene by a 911 call reporting a woman screaming for help.
