Laura Morris, a 48-year-old White woman, was shot on the afternoon of August 9, 2017, in the 8700 block of Olivera Street in Phelan, California. According to public reporting based on statements from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were sent to the scene at about 4:47 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a shooting.
