Kevin Johan Baquedano, a 19-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on February 5, 2017, in the 8700 block of Guthrie Avenue in Mid-City, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. when Baquedano and a 23-year-old man were standing on a sidewalk.
