Alejandro Ramirez, a 25-year-old resident of Salinas, California, tragically lost his life on January 12, 2017. On that evening, Salinas Police Officers were patrolling the area near Garner Avenue and North Sanborn Road when they heard multiple gunshots. Shortly after, a ShotSpotter activation directed them to the 500 block of Sunrise Street. Upon arrival, officers found four individuals with gunshot wounds.
