Alex Antonio Melendez, a 28-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on March 24, 2016, in Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Melendez was shot in the 1200 block of Menlo Avenue in the Pico-Union area.
