In the midst of a year marked by a surge in violence in Baltimore, the life of 26-year-old Dashon Griffin was cut short. On the evening of November 12, 2017, a day that had followed an uncharacteristically peaceful six-day period with no homicides in the city, the sound of gunfire once again shattered the quiet.
