Brittney Jene Barnett, a 25-year-old woman from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost her life on September 1, 2014. According to reports, Barnett was shot and killed in the 3100 block of 9th Avenue in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when Barnett and a 30-year-old man were standing near an alley.
