Foung Yang, aged 56, was tragically killed on June 6, 2014, in Fresno, California. The incident occurred at a Southeast Fresno apartment complex, where his son, Peter Yang, shot him multiple times. The confrontation between father and son escalated to a fatal level, resulting in Foung Yang being shot six times with a 9mm Glock pistol. The elder Yang had just returned from a trip to the grocery store when the shooting took place.
