In the spring of 2017, the life of Tyrone Dickens, a 27-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of May 24th, gunshots echoed through the 4000 block of South Payson Street. When police arrived, they discovered Dickens suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from emergency personnel, his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died at the scene.
