Tracy Spangler, a 29-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost her life on June 27, 2009. She was shot and killed in the early hours of the morning in East Oakland. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the 5400 block of Foothill Boulevard. Tracy and another woman, who survived the shooting, were both struck by gunfire. Tracy was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The police and the Alameda County coroner's office confirmed her identity shortly after the incident.
