Sarai Abigail Lopez, a 17-year-old Latina girl, tragically lost her life on August 19, 2007, in Los Angeles, California. On the evening of August 17, 2007, Sarai was walking with five other teenage girls near the intersection of Romaine Street and Normandie Avenue in East Hollywood.
