In the quiet suburban neighborhood of Clinton, Maryland, the life of a young man was tragically cut short in a sudden act of violence. Kevin Maurice Washington Jr., a 22 or 23-year-old male, was in his basement bedroom in the 5700 block of Alan Drive on the evening of September 15, 2016. At approximately 9:30 p.m., an unknown assailant fired a gun through the basement window, striking and killing him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
