Okeeno William George, a 17-year-old Black male from Lehigh Acres, Florida, was killed in the early hours of January 6, 2022, in a case that left his family searching for him before the truth reached them. Public reporting says the violence unfolded near Gerald Avenue and East 7th Street, where deputies flooded the neighborhood, shut down the road, and searched the area with heavy police presence, including a K9 unit and a helicopter.
